Description
Summary:The superconducting phase of nickel borocarbide of scandium with transition temperature (T sub(c)) identical with 14 to 15 K was obtained. The influence of annealing T on the superconducting transition, crystal lattice parameters and resistivity for the superconducting ScNi sub(2)B sub(2)C compound was investigated. While increasing the annealing temperature from 700 degree C to 900 degree C, the superconducting phase decayed by degrees. For the sample annealing at 1000 degree C for 24 hours, no superconductivity was observed.
