Description
Summary:Several extensions of the Standard Model, other than Supersymmetry, have been proposed. There is a very large variety of such theories and they all aim, more or less successfully, at resolving some of the outstanding theoretical difficulties like the so called 'hierarchy' or the fine tuning problems that affects the Standard Model. We present a brief and by far not exhaustive review of some of the most recent non Supersymmetry studies carried out within the ATLAS collaboration assessing how the ATLAS detector will be able to probe the existence of these theories up to the multi TeV energy scale when the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will start its operation at CERN.
