Detailed Study of the Variable Afterglow of GRB 060526

Description
Summary:Using one of the largest photometric datasets ever obtained for a GRB, we investigate the highly variable afterglow light curve of Gamma-Ray Burst 060526. The light curve shows clear deviations from a power-law behaviour which we attribute to energy injections. We fit the data to a numerical model including 6 energy injections which explains the full temporal behaviour of the light curve in many wavebands, ranging from NIR to X-rays.
