Description
Summary:The present work is aimed at performing the computation of cross sections and Maxwell rate coefficients in the framework of the stepwise version of the Multichannel Quantum Defect Theory (MQDT). Cross sections and rate coefficients suitable for the modelling of the kinetics of HD+ and BeH+ in fusion plasmas and in the stellar atmospheres are presented and discussed. A very good agreement is found between our results for rotational transitions for HD+ and other computations, as well as with experiment.
