Enhanced transport and magnetic properties in gadolinium doped NdFeAsO{sub 0.7}F{sub 0.3} superconductors
The transport and magnetic properties of Gd doped NdFeAsO{sub 0.7}F{sub 0.3} (Nd1111) samples synthesized at ambient pressures were investigated. Summary: | The transport and magnetic properties of Gd doped NdFeAsO{sub 0.7}F{sub 0.3} (Nd1111) samples synthesized at ambient pressures were investigated. The sample with x = 0.15 shows a maximum T{sub C} of 55.1 K and a magnetic J{sub C} of 3.4 × 10{sup 3} A/cm{sup 2} at 5 K. A T{sub C} enhancement of 6.3 K and a J{sub C} enhancement by a factor of 2, is observed in the 15 % Gd doped sample as compared to the pure sample. |
