Summary:We have studied the feasibility of using luminophores in the coumarin series in luminescent filters for correcting the spectra of light-emitting diode (LED) light sources. Fine tuning of the emission spectra of luminophores in polymer matrices is achieved by introducing nonionic surfactants into the matrix. We propose a method for estimating the photostability of luminescent filters and we determine the photostability parameters.
