Emissivity of Laser-Activated Pd–Ba Alloy

Comparative analysis of the influence of temperature and laser activation on the secondary electron emission coefficient and work function ( e φ) in Pd–Ba alloy (1.5 at % Ba) has been conducted. The optimum density of laser radiation has been shown to roughly equal 2 J/cm 2 . Reasons why the emissio...

Description
Summary:Comparative analysis of the influence of temperature and laser activation on the secondary electron emission coefficient and work function ( e φ) in Pd–Ba alloy (1.5 at % Ba) has been conducted. The optimum density of laser radiation has been shown to roughly equal 2 J/cm 2 . Reasons why the emission efficiency of Pd–Ba alloy decreases after long-term heating have been found.
