Description
Summary:This paper reports on a algorithm, based on finite element analysis which is suggested and used for stress analysis and computation of effective elastic, strength and thermal characteristics of complex heterogeneous media. The results of computations of effective characteristics of microheterogeneous Nb{sub 3}Sn superconducting coils of the ITER and T-15 thermonuclear reactors are presented. A tensor-polynomial criteria for the strength of these microheterogeneous coils has been constructed.
