Introducing light vector and axial vector mesons in the union of chiral and heavy quark symmetries
We introduce light vector and axial vector mesons as gauge particles in a (broken) local SU[sub [ital L]](3)[times]SU[sub [ital R]](3) symmetry. We also introduce a heavy axial vector meson and the interactions that combine chiral and heavy quark symmetries. Defining the weak current with appropriat...

Summary: | We introduce light vector and axial vector mesons as gauge particles in a (broken) local SU[sub [ital L]](3)[times]SU[sub [ital R]](3) symmetry. We also introduce a heavy axial vector meson and the interactions that combine chiral and heavy quark symmetries. Defining the weak current with appropriate chiral transformation properties we calculate the form factors in [ital D][r arrow][ital K], [ital D][r arrow][ital K][sup *], and [ital D][r arrow][ital K][sub 1[ital A]] transitions. The results are in agreement with data, wherever data are available. |
