Description
Summary:A model for predicting the nonlinear response of hybrid laminates sub jected to thermomechanical loads is presented. The theory accounts for the residual stress state present in the laminate following the cure cycle. Predictions of the model are com pared to the measured response of 0° and 90° coupons for two different ARALL® lami nates. Excellent agreement is found between predicted and experimental results for the tensile response and good agreement is found for the Poisson's response.
