Single-particle states in sup 151 Tm and sup 151 Er: Systematics of neutron states in N =83 nuclei

With the use of mass-separated sources, the {beta}-decay properties of {sup 151}Yb and {sup 151}Tm were investigated. The {ital h}{sub 11/2}, {ital s}{sub 1/2}, {ital d}{sub 3/2}, {ital d}{sub 5/2}, and {ital g}{sub 7/2} single-proton states in {sup 151}Tm and the {ital f}{sub 7/2}, {ital h}{sub 9/2...

Description
Summary:With the use of mass-separated sources, the {beta}-decay properties of {sup 151}Yb and {sup 151}Tm were investigated. The {ital h}{sub 11/2}, {ital s}{sub 1/2}, {ital d}{sub 3/2}, {ital d}{sub 5/2}, and {ital g}{sub 7/2} single-proton states in {sup 151}Tm and the {ital f}{sub 7/2}, {ital h}{sub 9/2}, {ital p}{sub 3/2}, {ital i}{sub 13/2}, and probably the {ital p}{sub 1/2} single-neutron states in {sup 151}Er were identified. Systematics of neutron states in even-{ital Z} {ital N}=83 isotones are compared with predictions of spherical Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov calculations.
