Description
Summary:The expected trilepton signals from [ital p[bar p]][r arrow][chi][sub 1][sup [plus minus]][chi][sub 2][sup 0][r arrow]([chi][sub 1][sup 0][ital l][sup [plus minus]][nu]) ([chi][sub 1][sup 0][ital l][prime][sup +][ital l][prime][sup [minus]]) will be converted into hadronically quiet multilepton signals, if the two final [chi][sub 1][sup 0] have leptonic [ital R]-parity-violating (RPV) decays [chi][sub 1][sup 0][r arrow][ital ll][prime][nu]. We make illustrative calculations of the acceptance for these spectacular RPV signals, and point out that distinctive multilepton signals are possible even when the [ital R]-conserving trilepton signals are blocked by the spoiler mode'' [chi][sub 2][sup 0][r arrow][ital h][sup 0][chi][sub 1][sup 0]. Other channels such as [ital p[bar p]][r arrow][chi][sub 1][sup [plus minus]][chi][sub 2][sup 0][r arrow]([chi][sub 1][sup 0][ital l][sup [plus minus]][nu])([chi][sub 1][sup 0][nu][nu]), [ital p[bar p]][r arrow][chi][sub 1][sup [plus minus]][chi][sub 1][sup 0][r arrow]([chi][sub 1][sup 0][ital l][nu])[chi][sub 1][sup 0], and [ital p[bar p]][r arrow][chi][sub 1][sup +][chi][sub 1][sup [minus]][r arrow]([chi][sub 1][sup 0][ital l][sup +][nu])([chi][sub 1][sup 0][ital l][prime][sup [minus]][nu]) can also give quiet multileptons from RPV. We investigate these signals in the context of supersymmetric models with radiative electroweak symmetry breaking, using examples in the low-tan [beta][lambda][sub [ital t]] fixed-point region.
