Pressure dependence of the superfluid sup 4 He transition in two dimensions

It is experimentally known that the superfluid transition temperature in three-dimensional (3D) {sup 4}He is reduced at higher densities. A similar effect is predicted in two dimensions (2D) based upon path integral quantum Monte Carlo simulations for small systems which have been scaled to the ther...

Description
Summary:It is experimentally known that the superfluid transition temperature in three-dimensional (3D) {sup 4}He is reduced at higher densities. A similar effect is predicted in two dimensions (2D) based upon path integral quantum Monte Carlo simulations for small systems which have been scaled to the thermodynamic limit by using Kosterlitz-Thouless (KT) theory.
