End-capped AB3-type hyperbranched carbosilane macromolecules
End‐capped carbosilane macromolecules were prepared via the hydrosilation and continual addition of phenylethynyl, amine, bis(trimethylsilyl)amine, and cholesterol groups on the AB3‐type hyperbranched carbosilane polymer. The matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization time‐of‐flight mass spectrosco...

Summary: | End‐capped carbosilane macromolecules were prepared via the hydrosilation and continual addition of phenylethynyl, amine, bis(trimethylsilyl)amine, and cholesterol groups on the AB3‐type hyperbranched carbosilane polymer. The matrix‐assisted laser desorption/ionization time‐of‐flight mass spectroscopic views of the end‐capped hyperbranched carbosilanes agreed with the expected mass distribution, in close regularity. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
