THERMAL STRESSES IN A HARMONIC FIELD FOR AN INFINITE BODY WITH A CIRCULAR CYLINDRICAL HOLE WITHOUT ENERGY DISSIPATION
The thermal stress distributions in a harmonic field for a homogeneous, isotropic infinite body with a circular cylindrical hole based on a Green and Naghdi theory are deduced. A numerical example is given and the results are presented graphically to illustrate the effect of the parameter of Green a...

Summary: | The thermal stress distributions in a harmonic field for a homogeneous, isotropic infinite body with a circular cylindrical hole based on a Green and Naghdi theory are deduced. A numerical example is given and the results are presented graphically to illustrate the effect of the parameter of Green and Naghdi theory. A comparison between the present results and the other results in the context of the generalized theories of thermoelasticity is discussed. |
