Summary:The Holocene climate history of the region near the mouth of the Yana River in Yakutia (Sakha Republic) is reconstructed from two sections of the Kazach'ye and Khocho peat bogs along the banks of the Yana River. Spore-pollen analysis and an information-statistical method are used to reconstruct temperature and precipitation histories that are compared with present-day conditions.
