High-Order FEM Mode Matching Analysis of Circular Horns With Rotationally Symmetric Dielectrics
An analysis method for circular horns with dielectric inclusions is discussed. The method is based on 2-D high order finite element method coupled to mode matching. Summary: | An analysis method for circular horns with dielectric inclusions is discussed. The method is based on 2-D high order finite element method coupled to mode matching. Comparison with results available in the literature and with experimental data on a vacuum window horn, in a typical radio astronomy configuration, validates the accuracy and efficiency of the method developed. |
