Summary:An electrodynamic problem is solved. The problem is that of matching waveguide branches, partly filled by dielectric, for an E-plane T-junction with a symmetrical diaphragm at the waveguide junction. In analytical form, the approximate condition is presented for matching, installing the relation between the geometrical parameters of the T-junction, the wavelength and the dielectric permittivity of the layer.
