Description
Summary:A statistical model based on the power profile of the transient response of a reverberation chamber is proposed in order to extract K -factor and different time parameters. K -factor is described as a function of time moments and the normalized level of the power of the signal envelope. Analytical relations for the mean delay spread τ μ and the root mean square delay spread τ rms are computed. The average absorbing cross section of the loading materials is also estimated with regard to K -factor. Simulations and measurements validate and show the utility of this method.
