Summary: | This paper is devoted to the computation of the magnetic field radiated by static inductors and a rotating machine. The authors used a 3D finite element program in which the open boundary space was represented either by geometrical transformation or by the coupling of finite element and boundary integral methods. A comparison of the computed values given by the two methods will be presented along with experimental results measured a long distance from the magnetic devices that have been tested.< > |
