Summary: | A feedback system is designed and built to automatically correct the long‐term instability of the photon beam generated from the synchrotron radiation storage ring. This feedback system is composed of a stepping motor‐controlled mirror‐alignment mechanism, a photon‐beam‐position monitor, a high precision current amplifier, and a PC‐controlled CAMAC interface system. The details of the system design as well as the motorized mirror‐alignment mechanism are presented in this article. |
