Summary:A sample of specimens of Lynx shansius Teilhard has been compared to similar samples of L. lynx from Sweden and Finland, L. pardina from Spain, and L. issiodorensis from Etouaires. Results show that L. shansius is only subspecifically distinct from L. issiodorensis. No conclusions can be drawn concerning the evolution of L. lynx on the basis of L. shansius.
