Summary: | This paper presents six new charts describing the heat and temperature histories of variously shaped objects. These charts use, as a characteristic length, the volume-to-surface area ratio of the object. With this definition it is possible to condense the cooling history of the various objects onto a single chart.
All charts were drawn by computer and some small errors were found in previously used charts On Other length measurements; these have been corrected in thts paper. |
