Summary: | A discrete recursive time-domain identification algorithm based on gradient estimation approach is proposed for linear time-invariant lumped-parameter systems. The scheme is quite general. Without invoking the strictly positive real lemma, Landau's proportional plus integral algorithms are shown to be the special cases of the proposed algorithm. Other gradient estimation based algorithms are also shown to be the special cases. The convergence of the scheme is proved using the second method of Lyapunov. |
