Summary: | In this study, job seeking process, pertaining process's information sources and utilizing intensity of information sources, which are the subjects that have been considerably under-investigated in Turkish literature, is examined. By this means, questionnaire forms developed by comprehensive focus group sessions distributed via e-mails to a sample consists of 188.523 students from both sub-sample of senior students of universities that are presumably on the preparation stage of the job seeking process and of post-graduate students that are graduated from universities 1-3 years ago and that are actively seeking job as well. At the end of survey, 19.894 usable questionnaire forms gathered. Study findings were evaluated in the light of recent literature and job seeking process in Turkey was found to be significantly different from these on Western settings. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT] |
