Summary:Middle Triassic boundary is a disputed issue in the world. Lower Middle Triassic strata of different types are well developed in Southwest China. According to the research on conodonts in Ganheqiao Section of Wangmo County and Qingyan Section of Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, six conodont zones, correlative with those in other regions, can be recognized.
