Summary:By analyzing some official games that took part in the National Championship edition 2008 following certain characteristics of the backhand of some of my players, I was able to point out some of the strong or weak parts of their backhand game. This research consists in analyzing the backhand efficiency of two players (Mîja Raluca and Pairase Georgiana) at the (National Championship category - 18 years old). The main conclusion of this study underlines the importance of keeping a high level of efficiency of the backhand stroke on the course of the entire match, any fluctuation in the effectivenes of this stroke could change the course of a match.
