Description
Summary:In this study the outcomes of atopy patch tests in three groups of children were compared; I - children with atopic dermatitis and negative skin prick tests, II - children with atopic dermatitis and positive skin prick tests, III - with atopic dermatitis, positive skin prick tests and allergic diseases of the respiratory tract. Tests were done in 39 children and 20 (51.3%) of them had positive outcome. The control group consisted of 12 children with allergic diseases of the respiratory tract without atopic dermatitis and with positive skin prick tests.
