New data on quaternary sediments of the atlantic ocean derived from seismic facies analysis

Description
Summary:Seismic facies analysis of Quaternary sediments in the Atlantic Ocean is still insufficiently used, since seismic profiling is largely conducted with low resolution equipment. New data on the fine structure of the upper part of the sedimentary cover developed over the continental rise and deep basins of the Atlantic Ocean were obtained during trans Atlantic Cruise 33 of R/V Aka demik Ioffe in spring 2011.
