Summary:A sample of 220 American college students completed both the Eysenck Personality Inventory and the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire. Consistent with the Eysencks' assumptions, the corresponding Extraversion scales from the two inventories correlated .80, and the two Neuroticism scales correlated .87. In addition, within the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, Psychoticism was independent of both Extraversion and Neuroticism. With the exception of the Lie scales, test-retest reliabilities ranged from .85 to .94. Means and standard deviations were reported for all scales, both for the total sample and by sex.
