description Rudolf Buddensieg writes in his Preface to the edition of John Wyclif's Polemical Works (Wyclif Society, 1883), pp. vii and viii: I take also advantage of the occasion which this preface presents, to draw the attention of Wyclif scholars to … a codex of the Biblioth. Laurentiana in Florence, containing the following Tracts: (1) De Fundat. Pseudofratrum; (2) De Christo et suo Adv. Antichr.; (3) De Citat. frivolis; (4) De nova Praevaricantia Mandat.; (5) De Contrar. duorum Domin.; (6) De quibusdam captivis Hispan. (Shirley, Catal. No. 66); (7) Dialogus (Shirley, No. 62); (8) Trialogus; (9) Determinatio de Dominio (Shirley, No. 55); (10) De Servit. civ. et Dominio saecul. (Shirley, No. 68). — I regret that though the existence of this codex became known to me, I had not an opportunity of examining it. The pages of the Florentine Catalogue referring to it did not come under my eye, until the printing of the texts in question had been nearly completed.
