Summary: | Evaluation is purportedly an integral part of organization development (OD), yet in practice many OD and group intervention efforts have little or no evaluation component. This article reviews the issues germane to OD evaluations and describes a successful integration of evaluation and OD activities in which interdisciplinary care-giving teams in a hospice are trained in order to improve structure and performance. The major group intervention is team building, and the authors discuss the results-of this team-building effort. |
