Description
Summary:The course “Micros in the Primary Curriculum” developed by the ITMA Collaboration attempts to provide support materials both for introducing a microcomputer into the work of the Primary School and to enable teachers to look critically at primary education. In order that teachers may exploit something of the full potential of the computer they need to be aware of the divergence of its possible roles depending on the software provided, and also consider how best to employ these possibilities in their approach to the primary curriculum.
