Summary: | Do viewing a videotape of oneself presenting a speech, the time in the semester of the viewing, and the sex of the student affect self-concept or ideal self-concept during a beginning speech course? This study found that at midterm, no difference in either self-concept or ideal self-concept could be attributed to videotape viewing. Significant change was found during the semester, and significant differences were found at the end of the semester. |
