Summary: | Basic assumptions about knowledge structures and behavior are used to highlight problems associated with traditional structurally based models of spatial decision making. A set of fundamental concepts underlying computational process modeling (CPM) is then presented and applied in CPMs of spatial behavior and environmental learning. Potential difficulties with the CPM approach are discussed as well as future prospects. |
