Summary:In 1997 Ohio State University's Extension's Administrative Cabinet conducted an internal review of the salaries of Extension agents. This study examined the salaries following a formula used in hiring new agents and a multiple linear regression model. The study found that some agents' salaries were below the salary they would receive if they were newly employed by OSU Extension. Recommendations were made to address the issues identified by this study.
