Description
Summary:The geography of the multinational firms is contextualized by the localization of its internatio - nal production and commercial activities. The Spanish direct investment abroad shows a triple concentration ratios: geographical, temporal and industrial. At the same time from the country of origin point of view the Spanish direct investment abroad comes fundamentally from three regions: Madrid, Catalonia and the Vasque Country. The Spanish direct investment abroad is mostly localized in advanced economies. The Spanish multinational are mostly biregional (European and American). However if conceptually the international business and economy terms do not apply to the intra-European Union transactions then the Spanish multinationals are basically American oriented.
