Summary:[...]the conference provided an opportunity for educators, trainers, and other professionals who work in the complex world of adult education to interact with others while learning about many different aspects of the field. Examples of these are sessions for emerging conversations in adult education which highlighted new trends in research and practice, conference scholarships for graduate students funded by the AAACE Educational Fund, conference registration discounts for hours worked by conference volunteers, an active graduate student Special Interest Group (SIG), published proceedings from the International Preconference, a professional development preconference for counselors of the Army Continuing Education System, and the co-conference of the Commission of Professors of Adult Education.
