Description
Summary:The superconducting order parameter in electron-doped high-temperature superconductors is calculated by fluctuation exchange approximation applied to a two-dimensional Hubbard model. In contrast to hole-doped cases, the so-called hot spots are located near the diagonals of the Brillouin zone in the electron-doped superconductors; this is found to result in the nonmonotonic angular dependence of the order parameter of dx2-y2 symmetry. This agrees with the implication obtained from electronic Raman scattering experiments, and the direct observation of this angular dependence is direct evidence of the superconductivity induced by antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations.
