Formation of Single Crystal of Hofmann Clathrate, Ni(NH3)2Ni(CN)4·0.5H2O, at Higher Temperature by Means of Spray Pyrolysis of Sucrose and Nickel Nitrate

Single crystal of Ni(NH3)2Ni(CN)4·0.5H2O was formed by the pyrolysis of mist of aqueous sucrose and nickel nitrate solution at higher temperatures as 873–1073 K in an inert gas without using harmful organic and inorganic compounds such as NH3 and HCN.
