Summary:An Absorption Correction UV spectrophotometric and a reversed Phase high-performance liquid chromatographic method for the determination of Ambroxol and Olopatadine Hydrochloride in Synthetic mixture were developed. The Absorption Correction UV spectrophotometric method was found to be accurate with 99.75±0.04 recovery for ambroxol and recovery for olopatadine 99.89±0.02 respectively, and method is also precise with a coefficient of variation for olopatadine and ambroxol was 0.996 and 0.885 respectively. For reverse phase HPLC, A reversed-phase C^sub 18^ column with methanol: ammonium acetate buffer (80:20, v/v, pH 5.5) mobile phase was used, and the detector wavelength was set at 244 nm. Linearity range for ambroxol and Olopatadine Hcl was found to be 78-150 μg/ml and 13-25 μg/ml respectively.
