Aluminum(III) Hydrogensulfate: An Efficient Solid Acid Catalyst for the Preparation of 5-Substituted 1H-Tetrazoles
An efficient method for preparation of 5-substituted 1H-tetrazoles via [2 + 3] cycloaddition of nitriles and sodium azide is reported using aluminum(III) hydrogensulfate as an effective solid acid. This method has the advantages of good yields, simple methodology, and easy workup.
