Active Thermal Insulation with Circular Blowing of a Heat Carrier at High Peclet Numbers

We have studied the thermal regime of a granular bed circularly blown by a heat carrier. The efficiency of such a system used as an active thermal insulation of combustion equipment surfaces is shown.
