Summary: | The research question addressed whether there would be a functional relationship between the Ask, Reflect, Text (ART) story-writing strategy and students' story content in terms of the number of WWW, W=2, H=2 cue questions addressed in their texts.\n The authors coded pre- and post-blogging writing samples using the coding method developed previously. The data analysis involved coding and categorizing the children's responses in order to answer the researchers' second question: "What thoughts do young children have about the nature of thinking?" Researchers also coded student responses to the activity according to a previous study's work. |
