Summary: | Reply by the current authors to the comments made by Michael L. Dimitroff (see record 2013-41458-001) on the original article (see record 2013-40851-005). Mr. Dimitroff's observation that the original article did not examine the gross motor skills of the group of hyperactive children is correct. However, the original article did use well established tests designed to assess the perceptual-motor skills of the population and the conclusions were based upon these findings. Mr. Dimitroff's idea that concentration is related to gross-motor coordination is novel and perhaps this would be an area of interest for him. It would certainly be interested in following his efforts in this regard. (PsycInfo Database Record (c) 2022 APA, all rights reserved) |
