Nitric oxide metabolism in poultry embryo tissue

It is established that considerably more products of nitric oxide (NO) metabolism accumulate in muscles of embryos of meat breed poultry than in muscles of embryos of egg breeds. It is suggested that developing muscle tissue is the main NO consumer in embryos.
