Summary:Retrospective analysis of a random sample of adult patients with urticaria/angioedema for >6 weeks, seen by Allergy/Immunology at a referral center from 2002-2008. Of 200 patients, 3 had elevated microsomal antibodies resulting in endocrinology referral with two starting thyroid supplementation and one improving; one saw endocrinology for elevated TSH which normalized without intervention.
