Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in patients with acute anaphylaxis taking beta-blockers

Beta-blockers are currently discontinued in patients considered for allergen immunotherapy given the risk of anaphylaxis, based in part on case reports suggesting that anaphylaxis may be more severe and prolonged in patients on beta-blockers.
