Patterns of respiratory viral infections correspond closely with early childhood wheezing phenotypes
To explore the relationship between specific viral infections and development of early childhood wheezing, nasal wash specimens were collected for symptomatic respiratory infections as part of the Childhood Origins of ASThma (COAST) study, and analyzed for common respiratory pathogens.
