Higher mean serum IgE levels in an isolated Hungarian population: Identification of a possible genetic founder effect

Geographic isolation might have contributed to a genetic founder effect elevating serum IgE, reflected in significantly higher mean IgE levels of local inhabitants of Salomvar when compared with the results of residents who are from other areas.
